Unit Election/ Elangomat

Fellow Brothers,

Over the next couple of weeks, we will be debating whether or not we want to have Unit Election Teams for each Chapter. We will also be seeking out Elangomats for the Ordeal Weekends. Information about both of these topics can be found below.

Unit Election Team

As a member of the Unit Election Team, your primary responsibility is to go to each Troop on a scheduled visit, instruct everyone on the rules of Unit Elections, hold the Unit Election and turn in the results to the Lodge. The main two requirements to be on a Unit Election Team for your Chapter are the following:

1. You must be under the age of twenty one. (Except for the role of Adviser, in which case you must be over 21)

2. You must be a member of the Order of the Arrow in good standing.

Elangomats

In order to be an elangomat, you must be at least a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow. During the Ordeal Weekend, you will set the example for the New Ordeal Candidates and lead them throughout their irksome tasks and weighty responsibilities. All Elangomats get AMAZING rewards for their service to the Lodge and the New Ordeal Candidates.
