Lodge Members,

 Some of your fellow Lodge Members have been asking the same question, "Will we get a 2010 Conclave Patch?" 

The answer is no and here is why.

At the beginning of the year, we tried to get a patch design from somebody in the Lodge. We actually started the search in December of 2010, but we got more people involved in February because we still had no design. As we kept hoping that someone would come forward with a design, Clay Redmon along with one of the Lodge Officers began looking at different ideas. Before we knew it, Conclave was just around the corner, and we still had no design. This is when the design that Clay and the Lodge Officer brought the flap idea before the LEC and everyone liked it. However, due to the late timimg, we decided that we were not going to make a flap for Conclave as they would not come in for some time after. The LEC voted against a Conclave Flap.

 To some of you, this may come as disturbing news, that we will not have a Conclave flap. And while I understand that you may have wanted one, it was voted on by the attending youth. What does this mean? GET INVOLVED!!!

Our Lodge, just like all other Lodges in Order of the Arrow, is a youth led organization. If you want to see action take place, you must be the catalyst.

 Our next next Lodge Executive Committee Meeting is September 19, 2010 at the Council Office in Jackson, TN.
If you are unfamiliar with the appropriate steps to take in getting something added to the Business Meeting Agenda or how to be a part of a committee or even a committee chairman, please feel free to contact any of the Lodge Officers or the Lodge Adviser for answers.
