With Conclave coming up in just over a month, we've got to start getting ready!!! And one way we can do that is registering for the event. go to registration.oasection6.org now to get singed up and paid for EARLY!! Details on how you can get registered for the event (other than online) will be coming soon.
ORDEAL WEEKENDS CHANGED
The ordeals weekends have been set to the following dates:
1st weekend: May 14-16th
2nd weekend: May 21-23rd
If you did not receive the email with this information, please contact the Ittawamba Lodge Adviser to be put on the email list at lodgeadviser@ittawamba.org .

Dear Lodge Member:
In consultation with the District Camping Chairmen, the Supreme Chief of the Fire, and the Lodge Chief the decision has been made to move one of the Ordeal weekends this year due to schedule conflicts.
The Ordeal weekends have been revised to May 14-16th and May 21-23rd.
This information has already been updated on the Council Calendar and will be reflected in the Ordeal candidate letters that are being prepared for your respective chapter’s call-out ceremonies.
Online registration for the Ordeals will be available next week for Ordeal candidates, Brotherhood candidates, and general members.

Who: ALL ITTAWAMBA MEMBERS AND BOY SCOUTS
COST: FREE,if registered before Thursday March 11, 2010.
What: A day of service to Boy Scouts of America, more specifically West Tennessee Area Council.
Why: Because it's what we do!! Founded 100 YEARS AGO Boy Scouts set off for a higher calling of service to community and nation; a higher calling of building tomorrows leaders of integrity and morality today.
It is because of BSA that the OA can exist so it is our obligation to give back.

My Fellow Scouts and Scouters,
As I said at Winter Banquet, my main goal throughout the 2010 year is more service to Boy Scouts of America. In the spirit of doing so, you can find service ideas from the National Order of the Arrow on the Navigation Bar.
I am amazed at the amount of emails I have already received from Scoutmasters, scouts, and Order of the Arrow members alike asking about this new initiative. Your excitement is inspiring, but we need many more people to get involved if we want this year to be successful.
If you would like to know how to get involved, please let us know by taking the less than one minute survey at the top of the Navigation Bar called GO BEYOND ONE DAY. If you can not find anything that you can do, please do not hesitate to email me at lodgechief@ittawamba.org, or email any of the lodge officers.

In less than 11 months, over 40,000 Boy Scouts will become a part of Jamboree City at the 2010 National Scout Jamboree at Fort A.P. Hill in Caroline County, Virginia. 2010 will mark the 100th anniversary of Scouting and you will want to be a part of this celebration.

....out of those 358 members, YOU can make a difference.
....out of 358 members, all it takes to get the other 357 members to come out and be a part of the Lodge is ONE member to get active and spread the word.
....ONE (scout) can bring his friend to the monthly roundtable?
....ONE (scout) can call his OA buddies and remind them about the "trip" this weekend?
....ONE (scout) can tell his friends about the website?
If we know that ONE is all it takes to get 2,3,4,5,6...... LET'S BE that ONE.

BSA- West Tennessee Area Council You must remember that your FIRST OBLIGATION is to YOUR TROOP. For it is because of Boy Scouts of America that Order of the Arrow can exist. You CANNOT have Order of the Arrow without Boy Scouts of America.
